BigPEmu

BigPEmu is an Atari Jaguar emulator written by Rich Whitehouse. It was the first Jaguar emulator able to run the console’s entire retail library, and it also supports the Jaguar CD, including the VLM music visualiser.

It runs every retail game at full speed with default settings on almost any x64 processor, without relying on dynamic recompilation. Emulation is deterministic, which allows saved states and movie recording, and options are provided to overclock the Jaguar’s processors so that many games can run at 60 frames per second. It also supports analogue controllers, controller overlays, shaders and custom backgrounds.

BigPEmu is free, closed source and actively developed, funded through the author’s Patreon. It is distributed as a portable archive for Windows and Linux (x64 and ARM64), and an iOS version is available on the App Store. For an open source alternative, Virtual Jaguar runs many games but is less compatible.
