Mini vMac

Mini vMac is an emulator for early Motorola 68000 based Macintosh computers, developed by Paul C. Pratt as part of the Gryphel Project. It grew out of the vMac emulator and is open source under the GNU GPL version 2.

The standard builds emulate a Macintosh Plus, and other variations emulate the Macintosh 128K, 512Ke, SE, Classic and Macintosh II. Mini vMac is designed to be small and simple: each build emulates a single model, and options such as the model, screen size and language are chosen when it is compiled. The Gryphel Project offers an online Variations Service that builds custom versions. It needs a ROM file from the Mac model it emulates.

The latest stable release is version 36.04 from 2020. Official builds are available for Windows, macOS, Linux, the BSDs and even the classic Mac OS itself, and ports by other people exist for systems such as Android, iOS and the Nintendo DS.
